Delivered from Darkness — Now leading Others to Jesus

Before they encountered Jesus, Artemio and Claudia’s story was marked by spiritual darkness. Their family had been deeply entangled in witchcraft and demonic practices—patterns that didn’t just affect them, but influenced generations around them. They owned their own business, worked every day without rest, and had no intention of changing course. Spirituality was on their radar, but they were lost in their search for it.

Their daughter invited and brought them to church, introducing them to Pastor Jose. They worked every day and didn’t have time for church. They had never taken a Sabbath. Pastor Jose simply prayed—that God would give them rest. It wasn’t even something they had asked for. But when God supernaturally made a way for them to have a day off, they recognized it immediately. They were no strangers to the supernatural. They knew power when they saw it. And they knew this was different. This was God and were soon introduced to Jesus Discple.

What followed was total transformation.

Artemio and Claudia went through Jesus Disciple together as husband and wife. As they walked through discipleship, every demonic practice that had once held them captive was broken. The darkness that had shaped their lives—and influenced their family—lost its grip. What once flowed through their home as spiritual bondage was reversed. Freedom entered. Truth replaced deception. The gospel didn’t just touch their hearts; it uprooted generations of darkness.

Now, the very couple who once led others into spiritual bondage are leading a Jesus Disciple group of their own. And God is moving powerfully through in brining freedom and healing to others with the same supernatural power that delivered them from darkness.

This is the power of the gospel. This is what happens when disciples make disciples.
